Booking

To confirm your reservation, we for a one night deposit. This deposit can be paid through paypal, credit card or bank transfer.

Cancellation policy

Rooms: Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to arrival. After which time, a one night’s stay will be charged.
Apartments: Free cancellation up to 7 day prior to arrival, after which time, a one night’s stay will be charged.

Check in / Check-out

Check-in and check-out hours for rooms: check-in is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Check-out by 11:00 a.m. We kindly ask guests to advise their approximate check-in time. Our reception is open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Check-in is at Novella House at Via del Porcellana 53, Florence.

Check-in and check-out hours for apartments: Apartment 49, Apartment 50, and Novella Balcony have the same check-in hours as the above rooms. A late check-out (8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) will have an additional 20euro added to final payment. Whereas a very late check-out (midnight) will have 30.00 euro added to final payment. We ask all guests who plan on checking out late, to let us know beforehand.

Check-in for apartments: Il Gigliolo, Signoria Charme and Santa Felicita will be checked-in directly at the apartments between the hours of 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Please advise beforehand your approximate arrival time within these hours.

Clients may also use our baggage deposit facility in Via della Porcellana 53 either before check-in hours or after check-out hours. Our baggage deposit is open until 7 p.m.

Price Information

A tourist tax of 2 euro per night is added to final bill. Children under 12 are not billed this tax.

Apartment Pricing

All utilities are included in quoted price (up to a 60 day stay), linens, towels and final cleaning are also included. The rooms are cleaned daily, the apartments are cleaned at the end of guests’ stay. Taxes and building fees are also included in final quote.

Tourist tax of 2.50 euro is not included. Children under 12 do not pay this tax.

If stay is 60 days or more, utilities will be added (meter readings for gas, lights and water will be taken upon arrival and at the end of stay).

For guests staying longer than 30 days, an Italian rental contract must be signed. The cost is 1% of the total rental price (with a minimum of 33.50 euro) plus an additional 30.00 for government stamps.

Security Deposit for Apartments

For stays less than 60 days, guests are asked to give credit card number as guarantee.

Parking

The historical center is a ZTL zone, meaning only residential parking with permits. We have a parking garage near our residence which we can direct our clients to. Note: for loading and unloading luggage, guests can enter the ZTL area for a total of 3 hours. The garage will take the license plate and relay information to city so that a ticket will not be issued when guests drive under the street cameras.
